Blogging has emerged and has come a long way. We have heard this statement uncountable times by bloggers and brands and the audience too. And I being an Indian blogger who started reading blogs and blogging way before it was the ‘it’ thing, couldn’t agree more. I started blogging as a way of expressing my love for clothes and style and writing. I have never been a frequent blogger. I write only when I feel like writing and do not post unless and until I am sure of what I post is something I would love to read myself.
Fashion blogging is my favorite part of blogging. I love reading fashion blogs. The difference between reading a glossy and a blog is that the blogs show how we could actually wear a fashionable outfit without looking like a clown! I love that aspect of blogging. Bloggers take a piece of garment that might look bizarre on the runway but style it in a way that it becomes wearable.
This aspect has changed a bit too in the years. Bloggers have better photographers, better make up and have become more poised. Few bloggers have editorials shoots have on the blog. I love looking at their work. It is just stunning. But in the process of becoming better, have we merged the only demarcation we had between the fashion magazines and the blogs? Not necessarily all editorials are jazzy, but most of the editorial style blogs are not very reachable to the audience. Although I am looking forward to do editorials myself and explore the beauty in it, I personally miss the innocence and wearability factor the old style of blogging had. Street fashion made so much more sense then right? Or is it just me?
I am loving the 70s trend, boho and summery outfits. And summers are definitely incomplete without maxi dresses. I paired mine with lots of rustic bangles and a neckpiece of the same tone and tan bag and sandals to complete the look. I love this look and shall be repeating this outfit until I get bored!
