Diwali Look: The Forum Vijaya Mall

Hello ladies and gentlemen. I am  writing  blogging after ages. Its been a long time but and I am on a hiatus which is completely unintentional. But I have been very active on my social media channels and have been posting lot of stuff there. You can follow me on instagram- HERE and catch my super crazy side on snapchat, username- sindhugupta17. Since Diwali is almost here I thought I should get back to blogging.

As we speak of Diwali, what completes Diwali? Sweets? Crackers? Diyas? House cleaning? Well ya! But what is the most important thing? You got that! DIWALI SHOPPING *I’m screaming that in a very shreaky voice* . And as usual I wanted something ethnic for the festive season. You may think Im all cray-cray for shopping, but I actually hate going to a lot of stores. Did I mention I’m a mall person? Not the kind who go to malls just to watch a movie and eat at the food court! I love shopping there and so I went to The Forum Vijaya Mall, Chennai at Vadapalani. You can know more about the mall HERE. I head straight to my favorite store- LIFESTYLE. I have been shopping there since I was a kid and I haven’t found a better multi-branded store yet!

The men’s collection was a fun one. I could spot festive colors like maroon and beige to casual colors like blue and orange. I loved their casual collection. It was perfect spread of variety of clothing. If you are planning for a trip during the new year’s, Diwali could be the perfect excuse to shop for it and Lifestyle will get you covered!

And then I head to my favorite section, the ladies section. I obviously went to check out the shoes first. I am into metallics these days and festive season is incomplete without the bling. I also liked the metallic bag. I think this would go with every outfit and can be easily carried from day to night. Any ethnic wear is incomplete without the box clutch or the potli. But I loved this one and what I loved about it is it could easily hold my lipstick, phone and money!

Moving on to clothes, I found lovely stuff from Biba, Melange and Global Desi and a couple of other brands too. The best part was there were clothes that would fit any occasion. A heavy look for Diwali, a classy look for a Diwali party and a easy ethnic look for cards party, you could shop it all at Lifestyle!

All in all I would say the collection was absolutely gorgeous at the Lifestyle at Forum mall, Chennai. They had collection that covered all the major trends of the season like, bold jewellery, cape kurtis, metallic accessories and boho fashion. It was a fruitful visit and it turned out to be me saviour as I have no time to shop because of my work and busy schedule.

If you are waiting to shop for Diwali, trust my words and go to Forum Mall if you are in Chennai. While you’re at it, do visit Palazzo cinema. What a theatre! Lovely interiors.

Have a lovely and colourful Diwali.

Love, Sindhu

Editorial and street fashion

Blogging has emerged and has come a long way. We have heard this statement uncountable times by bloggers and brands and the audience too. And I being an Indian blogger who started reading blogs and blogging way before it was the ‘it’ thing, couldn’t agree more. I started blogging as a way of expressing my love for clothes and style and writing. I have never been a frequent blogger. I write only when I feel like writing and do not post unless and until I am sure of what I post is something I would love to read myself.
