Once upon a time, I was strolling in the mall and I saw a beautiful pair of shoes sitting perfectly at the display, showing off how beautiful it is! I had butterflies in my stomach. I had this amazing and weird feeling. Was it love? It was indeed! I had love at first sight. I saw them with my eyes wide open and I knew I needed that beauty in life. That’s how I feel whenever I see a gorgeous pair of shoes. We all have had those moments where you feel the stores are calling you to get inside and buy all the pretty stuff. We are all in a way shopaholics and we have confessed it. But what is it about shoes that is more appealing than anything else?
Whenever I go buy clothes, I have a fear whether it will fit me or not, if its going to make me look fat, whether it will suit me or not. I have a ghazillion questions when I buy clothes. I have to think and re-think before buying anything. But whenever I buy a footwear, I don’t have so many questions. If I like it and if the colour suits me, I just give the damn money and take the babies home!
This is the main reason why all of us love shoes so much. If we like a pair of shoes, we genuinely like it. We do not have to compromise because it could make us look fat! We do not fear of looking bad or inappropriate. Shoes do not make us raise the question in the mind, “will I get my size?” (well except those people whose feet are enormously large, like my sisters’s). Shoes are available in all shapes and sizes and colours. They do not depress us or leave us with that fear.
You enter a shoe store and just end up smiling! That’s the magic a pair of beautiful shoes does. When a pair of shoes can work wonders, then why not buy a hell lot of them and just be happy? Whenever you are sad or depressed, go buy a pair of shoes. Lets call it the ‘SHOE THERAPY’.
These are  few things I personally feel about shoes and why I love them so much. Whats your reason to love gorgeous pair of  shoes?
I myself own a pretty good amount of shoes and love each of them. I keep them with my clothes in my closet. These are a couple of my really favourite pair of shoes. If I had to run from house and had to pick a few things, these babies would be with me.
Disclaimer: The opinion is personal. I haven’t read any article about it or have done any research. This what I personally feel.

Where there are few celebrities who style designer clothes pathetically (eg. Shahana Goswami in Sabyasachi), we also have celebs wearing few pieces perfectly!. Today we have Sameera Reddy featuring in the series. She donned a SHIVAN-NARRESH outfit for her appearance at the AAMBY VALLEY CITY fashion week. The colour looked just perfect on her. This shade is one of my favourite shades of pink and it works well on medium to dark skin tone. She Paired the blouse with wrap trousers. Slightly pointed pumps, a beautiful side knot and minimal make up with peachy-pink lips completed her look.

P.S. I loved her brooch.

Sameera, I love thy look. Do you all?

I have selected pieces from high street brands like MANGO and FOREVER 21(not so high street)which would give you almost the same look as Sameera’s.
source:respective sites of the brands
Blouson- FOREVER 21
Wrap trouser & pumps- MANGO
You can find these pieces from the respective sites of the brands. They are easily available and can give you a chic look like Sameera’s.

Ok that’s a really funny title for the post. But that was my genuine reaction after I saw this outfit. I post looks that I like, but I just couldn’t resist myself from posting this look by MS. CHOPRA. I mean everything is just blaaaahh! Its pathetic to be exact.
That shirt was insulted by styling it this way. Why the hell did she have to tie those knots? And showing off those belly buttons? Jeez! Those footwear with those pants.Seriously? And if she had to give that ‘Biker Chic’ kinda look, the least she could do was tie her hair up into a pony tail!

Have a look. Im not exaggerating!

I know its been long since I have posted this series. But I cannot explain how crazy life is.
But the thing is we are back with a new post in the series.
Before I mention about the look, I would like to mention that there are several looks which I love. But I only post looks which are wearable and affordable. I shall mostly avoid posting really big gowns and all that high end stuff. The aim of this series is to show you can dress up like celebrities and other people who have good style.
Today we have the gorgeous SUSHMITA SEN, who was seen at a Godrej event recently. What can I say, she looked really elegant in her outfit. The beautiful top, matching skinnies and that red belt added the colour which the outfit demanded. She chose peep toes sandals from the same colour palette, added a classic watch and left her hair open. PERFECT!

Ms. Sen, we LOVE THY LOOK.
Do you all?Share your thoughts!
P.S. Those collar bones!sexxxyyyyy!

Hey all. Today I shall not do a lot of talking. I am leaving you with pictures of an Indian outfit. If you had seen my post on DELHI COUTURE WEEK (if you haven’t then check HERE & HERE ), you would have noticed that combinations of white, black and red was the most common. Though I had got my suit before the fashion week, I knew this colour is perfect for fall. It has a lot of embroidery and prints. Thats just my style. I majorly bought this suit because of the dupatta.
Have a look at the pics-

Semi stitched suit- Boutique called FIDA (Delhi)
White pumps- lifestyle (Last worn- HERE)
Watch- Polo Club
On my lips- Ambika Pillai (Review- HERE)
I went for red lips and white pumps, which is very unusual because people generally go for juttis or stilletoes or sandals, to give a modern touch.
P.S- These pics look so matrimonial!
